An early afternoon departure aboard our deluxe motorcoach transports us to the rural Indiana town of Centerville, the home of WARM GLOW CANDLE CORPORATION. This family run business started in 1995 in the couples basement with the goal they still hold today of creating fragrant, slow and clean burning candles with an appealing value. Today over 5,000 candles can be hand produced in one day. We visit the outlet for these beautiful décor additions. We then head to one of our favorite, tucked away dining destinations THE BACK FORTY JUNCTION for an all you can eat, country cooking buffet before moving onto Ft. Wayne, Indiana and our overnight accommodations at the Hampton Inn. The next morning bright and early we head to the Ft. Wayne Coliseum annual home to the fabulous, quilted designs of the VERA BRADLEY OUTLET SALE. This annual 40-50% off sale—an opportunity available no where else in the country—offers a wide variety of Vera Bradley products from elegant accessories, purses, luggage and even home goods. An added bonus is our attendance at this sales event benefits breast cancer research in that a percentage of sales on specialty items and registration go directly to the Vera Bradley Foundation. Our arrival for the opening sale gives our guests first chance at the astonishing array of current, retired and specialty items, while supporting an incredibly worthwhile cause.
