and ASBURY MEADOWS
GARDENS & TEA
Thursday, June 24
A scenic drive to Augusta and the ROSEMARY
CLOONEY MUSEUM opened by former
Lt. Governor Stephen Henry and his wife
Heather Renee French Henry, Miss America
in 2000, in Rosemary’s former Kentucky
home. The museum includes material from
the Clooney family plus a room of Heather’s
gowns and collections from her reign as
Miss America. Next we’re off to Blue Lick
State Park where we enjoy a luncheon buffet
prepared especially for our tour—with the
chef’s focus on cooking with herbs. After
lunch we’ll enjoy a presentation from the
owner of LAVENDER HILLS FARM about
the growing and uses of this aromatic and
soothing plant. Afterward we drive on to the
Victorian elegance of Asbury Meadows B&B
for a house tour, light ENGLISH TEA, and
time to tour their amazing gardens including;
A RABBIT GARDEN (home to silky,
Flemish bunnies), A KENTUCKY SHADE
GARDEN and COUNTRY KITCHEN
GARDEN. We will also have a chat with our
hostess regarding the development of their
newest garden just starting this spring—A
BIBLICAL GARDEN
TOUR PACKAGE: All inclusive including
