We didn’t have to work hard to discover the great adventures and sites in this Mile High state. Historic railroads, Wild West history, delectable libations and great scenery make this newest addition to our travel calendar a must! Upon arrival at the DENVER airport we’re off on a guided city tour, including the Unsinkable Molly Brown’s home. Next day we’ll take in the sights of nearby Golden including a tour of BUFFALO BILL’S Museum and gravesite as well as a tour of processing plant for that fermented favorite known as COOR’S. Moving onto Boulder we enjoy a guided tour of the scents and warming pleasure of CELESTIAL SEASONINGS TEA. The following day takes us south of Denver to Colorado Springs, home to the US AIR FORCE ACADEMY, and the GARDEN OF THE GODS. Here we’ll travel back in time—and up to the top aboard the PIKES PEAK COG RAILROAD. Moving through the majestic scenery of the Wild West we come to DURANGO where we overnight in preparation for one of the tour’s highlights. Next morning we board the DURANGO & SILVERTON NARROW GAUGE RAILROAD voted ‘one of the Top 10 Most Exciting Train Journey’s in the World’ headed for an exciting days journey back in time to SILVERTON. At days end we return to Durango, ready for our next day’s journey north to GRAND JUNCTION and a visit to the CROSS ORCHARDS HISTORIC SITE. Our final day of Colorado delights takes us through VAIL to our final evening back in Denver. Throw in perhaps a few more surprises and this is sure to become a favorite—saddle up and join us
