Celebrating the arrival of a new team of artistic directors and the return of international star Christopher Plummer the Stratford Festival is offering an exceptional schedule of great theatre and an international event unlike any in North America.
From the timeless plays of Shakespeare and other classics the Stratford Festival offers a matchless variety of entertainment.
Our deluxe motorcoach heads north to our fun, frolic at Genetti’s Hole in the Wall restaurant and entertainment venue in suburban Detroit. The next morning we travel onto Stratford and an early afternoon arrival at our home for the next three evenings the classic and conveniently located Arden Park Hotel. That evening we enjoy the excitement of seeing one of the world’s truly great actors live, Mr. Christopher Plummer stars in Bernard Shaw’s Caesar & Cleopatra. The following day we’ll jaunt a bit east to a visit and guided tour at the historic Castle Kilbride with our return to Stratford mid afternoon allowing
time for a bit of browsing amid their world class shops. Our day ends with an evening performance of the festival’s premier musical The Music Man. Thursday morning we head out again for a little excursion to the home of some of the best apple fritters anywhere and largest selection of crafts, produce, flowers and flea market vendors in the area the St. Jacobs Farmer’s Market. We’re back in plenty of time for our farewell dinner together, capped off by the dark energy and memorable score of Cabaret. All theatre tickets are promised A+ Orchestra seating. A theatre touring experience not to be missed.
