Share with us the palette of lush to pale greens known as Vermont as we journey by deluxe motorcoach
to the ‘green mountain state’. Highlights include tasting and tour at one of MKL’s favorite destinations BEN & JERRY’S ICE CREAM; the fanciful fun of the VERMONT TEDDY BEAR FACTORY; a tour of the state capitol in Montpelier; and perhaps even a visit to LANDS END apparel. Of course Vermont is known for more than ice cream treats so for great maple syrup we’ll tour the MORSE FARM SUGARWORKS, COLD HOLLOW CIDER MILL and CABOT CHEESE. Tummies full we rest our heads in the mountain retreat of the TRAPP FAMILY LODGE still home to the family who inspired The Sound of Music. Included will be nightly movies, afternoon tea, delicious dinners and breakfasts and perhaps a bit of time to wander the lodge’s 2400 acres of gardens and walking trails. But we’re not finished! After ferrying across to New York we’ll continue our exploration with your tour of the OLYMPIC VILLAGE in Lake Placid. Special surprise stops for our first and last evenings in the city of Buffalo and we’re headed home.
